We all know in construction anything can change at the last
minute. Plans change, designs are altered.
It happens. But for one group of sixty Blitz Build volunteers, plans have
already been modified before they step foot on the work site. These volunteers received a healthy
dose of “Flexibility 101” when they learned their Saturday flight from Chicago
to Mississippi was cancelled!
“I found out at 2 a.m. this morning and have been trying to
find alternative means of transportation since. We were looking into renting van, buses, pack mules, even
Amtrak,” said Bryan Kidd, one of the group leaders. “At this point it seems we have found numerous flights for
everyone. Now instead of arriving
as a group, we’ll be arriving at scattered times. Seven, eight, nine, ten
o’clock tonight, and more flights tomorrow.”
Please keep the team in your prayers and everyone makes
their to Mississippi.
